A swoosh of starlings flying over the reedbed at Minsmere in Suffolk!
I am exploring the effects you can get printing from materials we throw away. The sky is made from screwed up Tetrapak in a subtle shade of blue. The rest of the print is multi block lino. I am hoping to bring this element into future work and am very excited to see the results!
Edition of 15. Printed image size is 22.5 x 22.5cm.
All of my prints are original linocuts and are handmade by me. Because they are handmade, prints inevitably have minuscule differences...part of the charm of being made by a person and not a machine!
I use Lawrence oil-based relief printing inks and Zerkall smooth white paper, 145gsm. I use a BlueBoy printing press.
Prints will be sent to you unframed, protected with cellophane in a re-enforced envelope on a Special Delivery service with the Post Office.
